How Teer Strategy Came About...

Spending three years abroad (two in Beijing and one in London) while studying the world’s politics and history has been endlessly fascinating. It changed my life.
 
When I first visited China in 2014, friends and colleagues had heard vaguely of a rise in the East of almost mythical proportions. A few even had suspicions this might challenge the world’s multilateral system. Most did not care.
 
Upon my return in 2019, all of this changed. An assertive and quickly rising China, an agitated and insecure Russia, the wavering and unilaterally acting United States, a divided and inward-looking European Union and turmoil in the Middle East all dominated headlines. And they will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

The world is in flux. Having studied the major actors that drive this change, I help parties navigate uncertainty. I want to make your organization future-proof in a rapidly changing geopolitical environment.
